Caruna E-Wheelchair Seat (EWS)

Why EWS?

Everything the Complete Mobility Solution does, now electric.

01

Fully electric wheelchair

A stand-alone motorised unit. Forward, backward, left and right movement are all electric, so the user or caregiver moves it without pushing.

02

Electric height adjustment

The base rises and lowers electrically to match your car's seat height, for a level transfer in different car floor levels.

03

Docks with the swivel seat

Integrates with the Caruna automatic swivel seat. The car seat turns out of the door and docks onto the wheelchair base, with no lifting.

04

Reclining car seat

Our 3rd-generation add-on system uses a reclining car seat, so the user sits in real car-seat comfort on the road and in the wheelchair.

✔Comes with a foldable aluminium dual ramp for loading the e-wheelchair into the car boot.

Two ways to use EWS

With the car swivel seat

  • The car seat swivels out and becomes the wheelchair seat
  • No lifting or transferring the user
  • For wheelchair users who cannot transfer on their own
  • Installed at our Pondicherry factory

As a stand-alone electric wheelchair

  • Use it at home, at hospital visits and outdoors
  • Electric drive and height adjustment
  • No car modification needed
  • Add the car swivel seat later if you need it
